Bucket App Overview:
Bucket is an application that is focused on getting you out there to tackle the things on your list. Wether it be skydiving in the the South Pacific or climbing Mount Kilimanjaro.  Bucket keeps all your adventures in one place.
In years past, thinking about your bucket list brings up thoughts of many pieces of paper left in various places with little rhyme or reason to them. Half thought out plans to accomplish some of the most fantastic feats on planet Earth. No longer! Bucket can help you plan your itinerary, photos, and chat with like minded friends about your experiences.

Objective Statement:
Exploring is something that is as human as our need for community. With the Bucket app it blends the desire for both: adventure and community. It is also placed as an application that is accessible to people who experience visual differences. The color palette is and the contrast of the colors are including a group of people who traditionally are not highlighted; person with daltonism (colorblindness).
According to colorblindawareness.org, Color blindness (color vision deficiency, or CVD) affects approximately 1 in 12 men (8%) and 1 in 200 women in the world. Worldwide, there are approximately 300 million people with color blindness, almost the same number of people as the entire population of the USA!
Based on this statistics there is a large portion of our global community that are not being included in product/tech decisions.

Bucket seeks to fix that.
Research Empathy Map:
This map was built with over 20 responses of person who identify as colorblind. The most popular responses were were used to create this map.
Low Fidelity Wireframes:
While creating the low fidelity wireframes I found that include an option to share pictures of the adventures helped to foster a closer relationship with the community. Including picture/video is something that helps to connect our experiences in app such as Instagram and Tik Tok. Including picture and video capabilities with Bucket helps to nurture the adventure seeking community.
Mid Fidelity Wireframes:
High Fidelity Wireframes
These wireframes reflect the look and the feel of the application with all the ui elements included
Color Palette:
Color Palette is an integral portion of any application. Color is one of the ways the human eye discerns difference and assigns importance to object. I believe color is universal and we can always find a way to incorporate it in useful ways to get the effect that we want to see as designers.
"Normal vision" is not one standard size, vision varies and should not be held against the end user. There are many ways accessibility can be applied to modern day applications. With Bucket, the color palette that I chose works well with many groups of color sensitive people as can be seen above. The selection of the purple also provide a great amount of contrast for persons in the achromatopsia group to be able to differentiate between buttons and things of importance.
UI Elements:
UI elements bring the application together using familiar visuals. The screen reader element is an important visual as Bucket is an adventure list app for all persons.
Key accessibility features to add:
Screen reader
Alt text on images
palette contrast
voice recognition
Next Steps:
This application would need to have more features added. This is a preliminary mockup to assess the accessibility features to confidently move forward in making a more robust experience.
