Challenge:
Goal:
Formation is a one of a kind app that is taking choreography to the mobile experience. Dancers sometimes find it hard to keep all their ideas in one place and the Formation app seeks to fill that void.
Create a integral app for dancers/choreography to design dances and pull on routines from the past
Make it a usable experience that can be transferred from dancer to dancer.
Style Guide:
The color palette of purple and light blue was selected to signify creativity and magic that dance can bring
Style Guide Components:
Wifreframing:
This project started off with brainstorming what dancers want in an app dedicated to their creative experience. After than we went to UX research. The research was compiled and my team and I were responsible for creating the style guide , low fidelity wireframes, high fidelity wireframes and prototyping.

Stage Building:
A/B Testing:
The wireframes were developed with a team of 4 UX designers. We used Google's design sprint template to draw solutions and create ideation that was useful in creating and prototyping this app. After this step we moved on to A/B testing, asking dancers and choreographers from the research stage to test our application remotely using the software Freshmarketer
Prototyping:
This project's aim was to help create an all in one space for choreographers and dancers to meet in this app. We tested whether loading music to the app worked better than having a third party music application for song selection. The research came as being the third party option was better. Formation is still in development at this time.
