Pennies is an interactive banking app to teach children from the ages of 8 financial literacy. Pennies uses color and easy to use language to make sure children understand how money, savings and investments work for financial freedom

Challenge: Make an app that appeals to the 8-13 age group to learn financial literacy
Solution: An user interface that allows children to learn to save, invest and use money in a way that protects their future
The Goal: create an app that appeals to children that they can use with little to no parent participation to learn and understand how to use money. This app also serves as a place to learn about stocks, savings, and credit cards

Initial Design Concept:
In testing initial concept we found that adding more gamification proved to be beneficial for the targeted age group. In the second round of design the accessibility features and gamification were added.
The application was geared toward usage on desktops but after talking to children we found a designing it for an ipad/tablet/mobile was the better option.
The subsequent designs are for mobile/tablet/ipad.
The updated user experience gives more features to explore and pages to add to the overall experience.
